A$H. is an independent recording artist, songwriter and performer whose music lives at the intersection of Pop, R&B and alternative soul. Produced and co-written alongside her husband and longtime creative partner, Terrence Brown (All Cows Eat Grass), her records blend shimmering synth-pop, timeless melodies and soulful storytelling into a sound that is unmistakably her own— cinematic, emotionally rich and built to outlive trends.
A graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in Theatre, A$H. has spent the last decade building an independent career defined by artistic integrity and unforgettable live performances. Since the release of The Perfect EP in 2015, she has amassed millions of streams, earned features in more than 50 publications, and reached audiences worldwide through music that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Her debut album It’s Just Art debuted at #4 on the iTunes R&B chart, while the breakout single “I Got the Moves” surpassed one million streams and has been licensed by global brands including Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M and American Airlines. Continuing to evolve with releases like Pri$$¥
and her critically praised album Low Key, A$H. has cultivated a catalog that effortlessly moves between infectious pop production, lush R&B textures and intimate songwriting.
A captivating live performer, A$H. has opened for Grammy Award-winning artists PJ Morton and Durand Bernarr, bringing her signature sound to audiences across the country. In addition to her work as a solo artist, she has performed as a vocalist with some of music’s most celebrated artists, including Janelle Monáe, Solange, Summer Walker, and John Legend, and appeared on the BET television series Chasing Destiny, hosted by Kelly Rowland, further showcasing her versatility as both a vocalist and performer.
In 2025, A$H. served as an Artist in Residence at Crosstown Arts in Memphis, where she completed Low Key and celebrated a decade of independent artistry with the release of The Perfect Vinyl, a special-edition pressing featuring The Perfect EP and The Please Like Me EP. She also introduced the Low Key Pink Edition Vinyl, a collectible pressing of her acclaimed album Low Key, further reflecting her commitment to creating music as a lasting, tangible experience. Today, as co-founder of the independent label Glam Pop Records, she continues to champion artistic ownership while creating immersive live experiences that feel equally at home in an intimate listening room or on a festival stage.
