Meshell Ndegeocello brings her eclectic musical background to City Winery Nashville for a night showcasing the talent that has earned her 13 GRAMMY nominations and 3 wins.
As a Blue Note recording artist, Meshell created two of the albums that would win her two GRAMMYs, The Omnichord Real Book (2023) and No More Water: The Gospel of James Bladwin (2024), coalescing a tight-knit creative circle that operates collectively in the spirit of their motto: MESHELL NDEGEOCELLO IS A BAND. Her third project, Synonym, expands her cast of collaborators and captures her ingenuity at reimagining and reconceptualizing songs written and performed by other musicians. Its themes explore desire, heartbreak, friendship, disappointment and love.
