Join the Smithsonian and an incredible panel of leaders for Reckoning With Our Racial Past: Conversations for Our Shared Future on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Frist Art Museum here in Nashville.
This thought-provoking event will explore how access to critical resources can shape communities, including right here in Nashville. Moderated by the phenomenal Soledad O’Brien, the conversation will feature:
- Terry Vo, District 17 Metro Council Member 
- Clifford Murphy, Director, Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage 
- Dr. José D. González, Co-founder of Conexión Américas 
- Marshall Earl Crawford, Jr., MPA, President & CEO of The Housing Fund 
- Katina Beard, CEO at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center 
- Eric Holt, JD, Assistant Professor of Music Business, Belmont University
